Summer Time!

Located just off the shores of Lake Calhoun in south Minneapolis, this intimate landscape project is tucked between older homes in a mature neighborhood. The images were meant to project a tranquil oasis. Wherever possible, I try to shoot at different times of the day to reflect the changing moods of a project. In this case, the project was staged and shot in the afternoon while the sun bathed the area in light. I returned the same evening to shoot at twilight.

Images were shot as HDR, processed using Nik HDR Efex (directly from Lightroom) and tweaked further in Nik Color Efex, Dfine, and finished in Photoshop.
