Architectural photography covers a wide range of image concepts depending on the client and use. There's no one-size-fits-all approach. This project, shot for a flooring contractor, is a good example. Because the client's interest was to illustrate the custom carpeting they created for this project, images were necessarily composed to emphasize the flooring and how it complemented the space. Painstaking care was taken to insure that the color and texture of the carpeting matched throughout the portfolio of images, in spite of a wide range of lighting conditions. This same project, shot for another vendor, the architect, or the end user/client might look dramatically different.
