Baci Ceremony. The most unique and touching aspect of this very special day was the Baci Ceremony (in American parlance, the String Ceremony). With the Bride and Groom seated before them, all of the guests lined up to tie strings around their wrists. As they tied a string, first around the Groom, then around the Bride, each person heaped loads of every good wish in the World upon them. They wished them great health, prosperity, beautiful children, happy lives, and more. This was an exciting wedding to shoot and a privilege to attend.
