Restaurant Photography...Blue Point in Bloomington

I recently completed work on a new restaurant in Bloomington, literally less than a minute from my studio. The architect responsible for this project has designed over 20 major restaurants in the Twin Cities. They use a blacksmith turned artist to do the custom iron work featured in this restaurant as well as many others.

HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography was employed extensively in these images to preserve shadow and highlight detail. Be sure to click on each image to enlarge so you can see the superb detail.

Why architects hire professional photographers: Although the architect had a vision of what he wanted when he took this pre shot, he had neither the equipment nor the skill to execute it properly. Enter: moi.
